I really like the online menu and ordering. Reps have always been very polite when ive called in, but as a novice fabricator I felt like I didn’t know what exactly what to ask for. You always have what I’m looking for instock, but sometimes I have to wait for the saw, that requires me to drive back down the next day. 46.6 mile round trip.

If you could offer faster service for people like me that just need a single cut to get it right now, that would be cool.

Example; Last time I was in I needed 1/4″ x 6″ x 36″ mild steel flat bar. I showed up just a little after opening paid for the order. then almost before closeing they called me and said it was ready. but since I’m about 40 min away with light traffic and it’s now heavy traffic time, there was no way I was going to make it.

Your area for people to pick up scrap and shorts steel is phenomenal. The sizes are perfect for the welding hobbyist and the prices are very reasonable.
I will continue shopping there, but I do have a question about price. The board pricing board stated that steel was sold at 50 cents a pound. I purchased 29 pounds. The total cost came out to be $20.75. This was more then 50 cents a pound, so I looked at the invoice when I got home. (invoice #[PHONE NUMBER REMOVED]) It states I was charged 65 cents a pound.
I do feel that even 65 cents a pound is reasonable, but can’t help but wonder why the stated price and the price charged are not the same. Could you tell me if the employee overcharged me, or do you just not keep your pricing boards up to date? How much will I pay next time I go in?
