I do not live in an town with a Metal Supermarkets store. I needed a 1-foot section of bar stock to be delivered to my wife, who was in the area for meetings and who would bring it home for me. The people in the shop went out of their way to help me out and get the item delivered to her hotel across town. Keep in mind, this is just a one-foot section of 1 1/4-in x 2-inch bar stock. But the staff at the Kelowna Metal Supermarkets put in a tremendous effort to make sure I got it; I might have well be ordering a ton of the stuff given effort they put into making sure I got it. These guys seem to understand that to small fry like me, a short section of much-needed steel is of the same importance as getting tons of it to the big players. Their customers service is outstanding.
