Metal Supermarkets Customer Turns Metal Into Mountains

A Metal Supermarkets customer recently turned metal into mountains by using material purchased from our Chicago Villa Park store to construct an indoor-rock climbing wall. Nicros Climbing Wall Systems used several Metal Supermarkets products including angle, tube, plates, wide flanges and fabricated parts to create the wall.

The wall will be part of Vertical Endeavours‘ newest climbing facility located in Glendale Heights, Illinois, which will be the largest indoor climbing facility in the US with more than 42,000 square feet of climbing surface.

Here’s what Dewey Horstman, Sr. Project Manager of Nicros Climbing Wall Systems had to say about Metal Supermarkets: “The prompt customer service and quick completion time of orders by the Metal Supermarkets staff was a tremendous help throughout the construction of our Vertical Endeavors – Glendale Heights, IL project.”

The new location is scheduled to open August 16, 2014.
